The Mount Greylock Ski Club welcomes new members.

Becoming a member is easy and inexpensive. The Ski Club has no initiation fee. Our annual membership dues cost about the same as one day at a commercial ski area. Essentially a membership is a season's pass, because there are no further fees for skiing.

2024-2025 Membership Dues (Calendar year Nov. 1 - Oct. 31). Please note all dues go up $10 after December 1.

$150

Family with any number of children under 21 years old

$120

Couple without children who ski

$ 75

Single adult

$ 60

Single child

The membership cost is low because members help out around the Club. For example, members take turns operating the rope tows on ski days. During the fall, we have a work weekend when members clear trails, cut firewood, fix up the buildings, and get the tows ready for the ski season.

If you would like to try out skiing at the Club to see if you are interested in joining, please come visit us and ski as our guest for one day. Please e-mail us to let us know you are coming. All guests must sign the following liability release form:

Here is some information that will be helpful for when you visit:

Call our snow phone (413) 438-6472 (413-GET-MGSC) to find out when we are open for skiing.

All of our trails are suitable for alpine skis or telemark skis. Snowboards are permitted, but less experienced snowboarders often find riding the rope tow challenging. Some folks enjoy classical cross-country skiing in the meadow or on narrow ungroomed trails in the woods. We do not groom trails for skate skiing.

We have no food service or rental skis at the Club. Please feel free to bring your lunch.

The final section of Roaring Brook Road leading up to the Ski Club is narrow. For safety, it is one-way up until 2:30 PM and one-way down after 2:30 PM on ski days. Please plan your visit around 2:30 PM.

When you visit, please go into the lodge and sign in with the area director. He or she will be able to help you get oriented. Membership forms are available in the lodge.

Have fun! The Ski Club is a great place for those who like to ski on weekends, but want to avoid the crowds and the expense of the commercial ski areas.
